LogicShark Consulting is a New York City based IT professional services company that specializes in systems integration, networking, technical consulting, security, and procurement for corporations.
LogicShark Consulting is seeking a full time, application systems engineer in their NYC office. This hire must have some work experience in the consulting field. This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting and supporting various IT client projects relating to the applications aspect.
Skills required:
• Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS required
• Experience with computer hardware concepts and architectures required
• Excellent knowledge of networking basics required (LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPN, network design)
• Ability to configure and install Windows desktop and server operating systems a plus
• Certifications in Microsoft/Cisco/Check Point/HP a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work and think independently with minimal supervision
• Some travel required
